Police Blotter: A Couple DUIs, Larceny, Assaulting Police

North Branford and Northford residents arrested from March 11 to March 24.

The following arrest information was supplied by the North Branford Police Department. It does not indicate convictions.

Friday, March 11

Gary Ammann, 57, of 1936 Middletown Ave., Northford, was arrested on a charge of second-degree failure to appear in court.

Christine Mulvey, 34, of 2268 Foxon Road, North Branford, was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Brian Wood, 28, of 65 Skylark Drive, Northford, was arrested for operating while under the influence and driving in the right hand lane.

Saturday, March 12

Kevin Labanca, 22, of 346 Reeds Gap Road, Northford, was arrested for operating while under the influence and failure to drive in proper lane on a multiple lane highway.

Monday, March 14

Paul Dumaine, 44, of 242 Sea Hill Road, North Branford, was arrested for sixth-degree larceny and criminal violation of a protective order. In 2008, Dumaine was found guilty of fifth-degree larceny and sentenced to six months in jail. A year later, Dumaine was found guilty of fourth-degree larceny and had to pay a $300 fine. His court date is scheduled for March 28.

Wednesday, March 16

Joseph Messina, 24, of 30 Mansfield Drive, Northford, was arrested for criminal violation of a protective order.

Jason Smith, 25, of 15 Ann St., North Branford, was arrested for interfering with a police officer, assaulting a police officer (firefighter, EMS) and breach of peace in the second degree.

Tuesday, March 22

Alexander Peluso, 28, of 1065 Middletown Ave., Northford, was arrested for third-degree criminal mischief and criminal violation of a protective order.
