Shot Fired into Tilcon Offices

A gunshot penetrated the wall at the office building at Tilcon Connecticut at approximately 3 p.m. on Jan. 9.

The received a 911 call at approximately 3 p.m. this afternoon after a shot was fired into the Tilcon Connecticut office at the bottom apron to the rock quarry.

Lieutenant David D'Ancicco reported that the bullet entered the north side of the building, went through an exterior wall, through an office, through an interior wall, through another office, and shattered a jar that was on a shelf in an office.

Officers responded and recovered a high-velocity bullet, possibly fired from a long rifle, and the round. Officers and Detective Ronald Onofrio are on the scene, trying to establish, with lasers, the trajectory of the weapon and exactly what point it was fired from.

There is digital video surveillance in the parking lot and Tilcon officials are meeting with detectives to review the video.
