Suspicious Box at North Farms Park Being Investigated
North Branford police have called in Connecticut State Police to investigate a suspicious box at North Farms Park.
Those driving down Route 139 may notice that is taped off by the . Lieutenant David D'Ancicco reported that it is a precaution as there was a "suspicious box" at the park.
He described it as a toolbox and that it aroused suspicion due to the area in which it was left. Connecticut State Police were called to the scene to examine it with special remote-control equipment that can X-ray the box's contents.
D'Ancicco stressed this was purely a precautionary measure.
