North Branford Patch: What's something residents need to know?
Judy Barron: We get a lot of calls from the community as to whether or not we take donations of medical equipment (wheelchairs, walkers, etc). The answer is we do not. While we are thankful that so many people think of our facility to give to, we are not medically staffed to accept the equipment to give back to other individuals and ensure their safety while using it. We recommend that people contact Charlie’s Closet in Guilford.

North Branford Patch: What is the best Halloween costume you've ever worn?
Judy Barron: When my oldest was 2, I decided to dress up with her. I was an Aristocat from the Walt Disney Movie. It was a FULL, FUR LINED suit, and let me tell you, I experienced what menopause would be like in the future wearing that thing! It was hot! While I dare not share a picture with you of me in it, here’s one of my children, Isabella & Chelsea from last year. Happy Halloween!!
