3 Questions for Town Manager Bonnie Therrien: Aug. 21

North Branford's interim town manager shares the latest town happenings and more.

In addition to the regular questions of 'What's new in your department?' and 'What's something residents should know?,' this week North Branford Patch is already thinking about  (sorry kids!) and asks our town officials, including , about their favorite subject to study growing up.

North Branford Patch: What’s new in your department?
Therrien: On Friday, we opened the bids for the renovations of the former school building Stanley T. Williams to become our new and . We received 12 bids, which is great, and the base bids, without alternates, came in with a high of $677,000 to a low of $462,800.  Our architect, , is analyzing the bids and we hope to have some recommendations made for the work to be done by the beginning of September.  Stay tuned for more news on this exciting project.

North Branford Patch: What's something residents should know?
Therrien: The North Branford Town Council is always looking for volunteers to serve on Boards and Commissions. If you can spare a few hours each month to give back to your community and you would like to know what vacancies are available on these committees, please call the at 203-484-6000. We need your input into making North Branford  the best community in the State!!
