Jury Selection Continues for Komisarjevsky

Defense lawyers and prosecutors use more peremptory challenges.

Jury selection continued this week in New Haven Superior Court for the Joshua Komisarjevsky trial, but no jurors were selected on Monday or Tuesday.

The attorneys in the case have selected 12 regular jurors and six alternate jurors, but they still must pick three backup alternates.

Komisarjevsky’s defense lawyers used one peremptory challenge and state prosecutors used two challenges, which brings the defense’s total to 38 and the prosecution’s to 37.
