What "job killing" laws were passed in 2008 before Obama became president? I do remember Bush signing the bill for the $700 billion bailout.

A little perspective. In the wake of the Revolutionary War, the US was in serious debt over military spending. In order to stabilize US currency, Hamilton and Washington advocated taxing the population AND selling our debt to (wait for it) England. When farmers, distillers and other businesses and individuals rebelled against those taxes, Washington put down the uprising by force that resulted in a number of deaths, arrests and indictments. Our Founding Fathers weren't always the devout conservative saints they're made out to be. Selling our debt is not NEW. Refinancing our debt is not NEW. In fact, debt refinancing and bonding went on a huge upswing in CT in 2004 after borrowing AND spending went up 3-fold in Rowland's administration.

ANY of the three GOP candidates would be a tremendous improvement over the incompetent Dannel 88! If he is re-elected there is NO chance of a true recovery for CT, its Taxpayers and business owners. This Nov. election is a must win, for the sake of anyone who wants to still live here, and is a MAKER rather than a TAKER!!
