North Branford Begins Storm Debris Collection

The Town of North Branford issued a press release regarding debris pickup due to the October snowstorm.

Following the Presidential Disaster Declaration for the State, the Town of North Branford began curbside removal of of the -related brush and limbs from residential areas beginning on Monday, Nov. 28.

The scheduled pickup begins in the northern section of town where the storm damage was move severe and continue southerly until the process is complete town-wide. There will only be one scheduled collection per street.

A residential brush drop-off site has been established at the Swajchuk Property on Forest Road.

Leaves will not be collected as part of this process. Curbside leaf collection (in brown biodegradable bags only) also began on Nov. 28 and follows the daily trash collection schedule through Dec. 2.
