Budget season is in full swing. While State Senator and State Representative Vin Candelora both talked about the effects of Gov. Dannel Malloy's proposed budget at both the State of the Town/State Breakfast and at the March 5 Town Council meeting, North Branford town officials have been busy preparing their 2013-14 town budget.
At the next Town Council meeting – Tuesday, March 19 at 7 p.m. – Interim Town Manager Bonnie Therrien and Superintendent Scott Schoonmaker will present their respective 2013-14 budgets to the Council. The full agenda for Tuesday's meeting is attached.
According to a press release from the Town of North Branford, this will be the only public meeting where the public can hear an oral presentation of the budget. Budget booklets will be available at the meeting and following that date, the booklets can be picked up at the Town Hall, Town Clerk’s Office, libraries and the Board of Education office. The proposed budgets will also be posted on the Town’s website.
