North Branford Road Improvements on the Horizon

The recently announced that the will be performing road improvements on the following roads this spring: Youngs Apple Orchard Road, Woodland Drive, Lakeview Drive, Mountain View Terrace and Hickory Lane.

Improvements will consist of catch basin repairs and miscellaneous pavement patching and leveling, which will commence in early April. This work will be followed by the placement of a thin hot asphalt overlay, which is scheduled to occur in mid-May. During the placement of the hot mix asphalt, residents are asked to move all their vehicles off the street. 

The roads will be accessible to local residents, school buses and emergency vehicles at all times. There may be temporary road closures or detours and residents should expect delays during the construction time. Please use caution when driving through the construction zone.
