Top 10 Taxpayers in North Branford

Much of the recent discussion by the North Branford Economic Development Commission has centered around bringing more businesses to town to lessen the tax burden on North Branford residents with Chairman Eric Hodgson noting, "We are looking into ways to divsersify our tax base" at the March 5 Town Council meeting.

The top five taxpayers remain the same from 2011 with Brook & Whittle moving up from No. 5 to No. 4. United Illuminating, coming in at No. 9 in 2012, was new to the list as was April Acres at No. 6.
