North Branford town manager Mike Paulhus shares the weekly report for the week ending June 14, 2013.

Some highlights from the report include:

  • Paulhus attended the Police Commission meeting on June 10, which was a "great opportunity to learn more about the department."
  • Representatives from the fire, police and engineering departments are in contact with the State DOT regarding the Route 80 project and the impact it will have on North Branford Fire Department Company #1.
  • Painting at the Community Center/ Senior Center is complete. Excavation and tank work is scheduled to start this week, along with work on entrance door and ramp.

Paulhus was named North Branford's new town manager on March 26, 2013, taking over for Bonnie Therrien, who was named North Branford's interim town manager at the July 10 Town Council meeting after the town made an "amicable split" with former town manager Richard Branigan.
