North Branford's new town manager, Mike Paulhus, shares the weekly report for the week ending May 10, 2013.

Some highlights from the report include:

  • The budget referendum is Tuesday, May 14 from noon to 8 p.m.
  • The gas and water companies are continuing work along Route 80.
  • The deadline for filing for the state and local programs for Elderly Assistance is May 15. The town's line item for this option is $75,000, which is divided by the number of applicants.

Paulhus was named North Branford's new town manager on March 26, 2013, taking over for Bonnie Therrien, who was named North Branford's interim town manager at the July 10 Town Council meeting after the town made an "amicable split" with former town manager Richard Branigan.
