North Branford's interim town manager, Bonnie Therrien, shares the weekly report for the week ending Nov. 9.

Some highlights from the report include:

  • A post-Sandy meeting was held to discuss the town's response. "If you have any suggestions for improvements, please let me know so we can incorporate them into our long-range emergency action plan."
  • The town's Toys for Tots drive is underway (through Dec. 10) with dropoffs at the North Branford Police Department, Community Center and Smith Library.
  • A letter of thanks from Superintendent Schoonmaker to Public Works Director Fran Merola for his response to the snow from Storm Athena.

Therrien was named North Branford's interim town manager at the July 10 Town Council meeting after the town made an "amicable split" with former town manager Richard Branigan.
