Countdown to Back-to-School: Jerome Harrison Elementary School

Due to the impact of Hurricane Irene, the first day of school for all students at (JHS) is Tuesday, Sept. 6. All previously scheduled open houses and orientations have been canceled. 

Students will report to school at the regularly scheduled time and meet with staff in the gym before heading to their classrooms.

Parents of JHS students can also attend Back-to-School night on Wednesday, Sept. 7. The parents-only session will give teachers a chance to share information about the upcoming year and allow parents to ask questions.

Stay up-to-date with all of JHS’s news on its website. One cool feature is the ‘Virtual backpack’, which posts all notices that are sent home so there’s no need to worry about a paper getting lost in the shuffle.
