Girls’ Lacrosse Looking for Titles
The North Branford T-Birds are aiming for championships this season.
After playing in the 2011 season, the is looking to make it all the way this year. said her team’s goals include winning the Shoreline Conference as well as the Class S State Tournament.
The team opens the 2012 season tonight, traveling to Shelton for a 6:30 p.m. contest.
With a challenging schedule, the T-Birds are looking forward to big games against Weston (home on May 5), Granby (season finale at home on May 23) and perennial rival (home on April 11 and away on May 1). See the full schedule below.

Emilee Maher, Miranda Jassil, Rachel Robertson and Lisa Sagnella will captain the squad. Connelly is also expecting contributions from Emmy Dulak and Alexa Picciuto.
“Our defense is new and still learning to work together but is showing tremendous progress every day,” said Connelly. “We need to establish a leader offensively to take control and call plays and move the ball around.”
