While most students try their best to avoid the principal's office, students at Jerome Harrison Elementary School were buying raffle tickets to have lunch with their principal, Shawn Parkhurst, along with their teacher.
The sale of the raffle tickets benefited Matt's Mission Fund with one winner chosen from each grade. The winners were Jason Cosgrove (K), Abigail Pizzorusso (1st grade) and William Seward (2nd grade). They are pictured with Parkhurst.
The group – and each of their teachers – enjoyed lunch at Abate's on Friday and the school raised $919 for Matt's Mission Fund.
