Sept. 6 marked the first day of school for North Branford schools and North Branford Patch caught up with the youngest of the bunch.

Most students (and parents) were ready for school to finally start on Sept. 6. North Branford Patch was there to watch the smallest North Branford and Northford students arrive at 

Students arrived by bus and with parents and were greeted by Principal Shawn Parkhurst and staff, while they waved hello to old friends and got ready to make new friends. 

Cameras flashed, video cameras rolled, hugs were given and parents said goodbye as the students began the 2011-12 school year.
