Relay for Life Rolls into East Haven

The North Branford/East Haven Relay for Life raises money for cancer research locally.

By now "Relay for Life" is a household name. Each year, more and more high schools around the country host this amazing event. Relay for life is a 24-hour charity event where participants walk around a track for 24 hours (taking turns, of course!) to raise money and awareness for the American Cancer Society. Participants camp out on school grounds during the event and local venders sell snacks and other goodies to raise money.

Relay for Life is always a well-attended event that appeals to all ages. The younger kiddies and parents will hang out during the day, while the teens and tweens tend to come out at night. The event is usually also graced with the inspiring presence of cancer survivors.
