T-Birds' Volleyball Falls to Morgan
The Morgan Huskies topped North Branford 3-0 in Shoreline Conference volleyball action.
On Sept. 19, the North Branford volleyball team hosted the perennial Shoreline Conference powerhouse Morgan Huskies, falling 3-0 (25-10, 25-15, 25-8). Morgan improved to 3-0 in 2012, while North Branford fell to 0-3.
Kayla Nowak led the T-Birds with two blocks, an assist, a kill and two aces. Deanna Gallo was also strong with two aces and a kill. Brianna Saroka and Julia Reis also chipped in with Saroka adding two kills and Reis coming up with four digs.

The Huskies racked up their stats as Jen Dawson recorded 10 kills, Kat Wilkinson scored nine points, including six aces, and Lily Dawson had 24 assists.
