On July 7, North Branford Little League's 10U All-Star team pulled out a 4-2 win over Milford International at Wall Field to advance to the District semifinals.
Phoenix Billings and Joe Mascari led the way offensively, while Teddy DeCola pitched a great 5 2/3 innings. Jason Ryszcyk had a big double in the bottom of the fifth to set up the winning runs Â
"Our defense was great again tonight," said Coach Joseph Mascari. "Now it’s on to Orange to the District semifinals, where we play a tough Orange team."

The 10U team takes on Orange on Saturday, July 8 at 10 a.m. The winner advances to play the winner of Milford National vs. Max Sinoway, which is being played tomorrow at noon, also at Orange.
