Nominate the Royal Court for the 2013 North Branford Potato and Corn Festival

The 2013 North Branford Potato and Corn Festival is quickly approaching – to be held Aug. 1 to 4 – on and until Wednesday, July 31, we’ll be taking nominations for the Royal Patch Court. Submit your nominations for King and Queen Corn, along with Prince and Princess Potato.

The 2011 Royal Patch Court included Queen Jackie Folz and King Kyle Mezerewski, along with Princess Karen Ablondi and Prince Willy Taylor. Last year, Pam Gery was named Queen with Pete Deyo of New Haven Sign Company crowned King. Elisa and Dennis Pannone were the Prince and Princess. 

Who do you think deserves this year’s title? We’re looking for nominations of outstanding citizens of North Branford and Northford of all ages. As a sponsor of the Royal Patch Court, North Branford Patch will be on hand with the to announce the winners and award prizes.

The Royal Patch Court will be announced on Sunday, Aug. 4 at 3:15 p.m. on the main stage before All Summer Long – A Musical Tribute to the Beach Boys' performance.
