Thanks for Visiting Us at the Potato and Corn Fest!

Here's some of the people we spotted in the Business Expo tent and the food tent at the North Branford Potato and Corn Festival! Did we see you? Add your own photos, too!

It was a great, albeit very hot, weekend for . Patch headed to the festival on Saturday to hang out in the Business Expo tent and we had a great time.

We set up camp in between and . My daughter came to help me set up and she was excited to test out the boxing gloves on one side and get all kinds of goodies like boppers, pinwheels and tattoos on the other side. 

While I didn't have any toys to hand out, there were plenty of kids who were happy to get a Patch balloons and we had tons of newsletter signups with those signing up getting a T-shirt or a tote bag. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat! I certainly got some great ideas for upcoming stories (feel free to email me at jenn.mcculloch@patch.com with any news tips) and put a face to a lot of familiar names!

Several political candidates also visited the fest, including , , and . I also got a chance to visit with North Branford Fire Chief (my daughter gave him a fireman Mr. Potato Head!), Police Chief , Town Council members Joanne Wentworth and Rose Angeloni, blogger , of , of and many, many others!

A big shoutout to all of the festival volunteers who made it such a great event, especially the pair who gave me and all my stuff a lift back to the car on their golf cart at the end of a long, hot day!
