Start the Week Right with an Evening at Gouveia Vineyards

This week in North Branford, spend time at Gouveia Vineyards, support the T-Birds, attend a town meeting, check out the library programs and more.

1. An Evening At Gouveia VineyardsThe Northford Women's Club hosts this night out on Monday, May 6 from 6 to 9 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the Northford Women’s Club charity budget, which supports scholarships, food baskets for the needy, and other worthy causes in our community. 

2. NBHS Sports: The North Branford T-Birds continue their spring seasons with homes contests for baseball, boys' tennis, girls' lacrosse and girls' tennis. For their full schedule, check out the CIAC's website. 

3. Feeling Artsy? Head to the North Branford Art Society Meeting on Thursday, May 9 where you can network with other like artists and promote art in your community.

4. North Branford Town Meetings for the week include the Economic Development Commission and Agricultural Commission on Monday, May 6; Town Council on Tuesday, May 7; the Finance Sub-Committee on Wednesday, May 8; and the HazWaste/Recycling Committee on Thursday, May 9.

5. Fun at the Libary: This week, Time for Baby & Me is on Wednesday, May 8 at the FRC building and there will be a Mother's Day Movie Matinee on Saturday, May 11 at 1 p.m. at Smith Library with Brave as the feature. Here's the full calendar of library events.

5. Register for Matt's Mission 5K: Matt's Mission 5K is Sunday, May 19 and registration is underway. Will you be running or walking?
