Touch-a-Truck, Knights of Columbus Tag Sale and More Events in North Branford This Weekend
This weekend in North Branford, you can help cats with a cat food drive, check out big trucks or hunt for bargains at tag sales!
There are plenty of events on the Patch calendar for this weekend, including the NBHS Talent Show and the return of Cruise Nights at Central Plaza on Friday, May 31 at 7 p.m.
Natureworks will be celebrating its 30-year anniversary all weekend long with free workshops, raffles, sales and more!

Saturday, June 1
- Pancake Breakfast to benefit Project Graduation beginning at 8 a.m. at Zion Episcopal Church.
- Knights of Columbus Giant Flee Market/Tag Sale in the field next to Doody's beginning at 8 a.m.
- Neighborhood Tag Sale in the Cedar Lake neighborhood beginning at 9 a.m.
- The North Branford Land Conservation Trust, Inc.'s annual business meeting is at 9:30 a.m. at North Farms Park Pavilion followed by an easy, one-hour, 1.5-mile guided nature walk with letterboxing in celebration of National and Connecticut Trails Day weekend. Dr. Jay Ague, the Henry Barnard Davis Professor of Geology & Geophysics at Yale University, will then present an overview of the geology and geologic history of land in North Branford. - Greater New Haven Cat Project hosts a Cat Food Drive at Agway from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Pet Adoption Event at Milford Petco
- CAN U SING: a singing contest from noon to 3 p.m. at Donovan's Reef in Branford
Sunday, June 2
- 13th Annual Touch-A-Truck in the North Branford Auditorium parking lot from 1 to 4 p.m.
- 2013 Southern CT Arthritis Walk beginning at 9 a.m. at East Haven High School. Northford's Cindy DeLillo is this Ambassador for the walk.
- Branford Compassion Club and Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter are co-hosting the Sally Andersen-Bruce Shelter Pet Photo & Stamp Exhibit with a lecture from Sally from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Branford's Blackstone Library.
