CONFLICT IS ETERNAL

The U.S cannot win strategically in peace or in war for as long as it remains subjected to its current monetary and banking procedures. Reform the monetary system. Build the U.S.

CONFLICT IS ETERNAL      William H. James, Ph.D.       (www.buildusanow.com)

FOR NATIONS AND THEIR PEOPLE, CONFLICT IS ETERNAL. Peace and war are phases of the eternal struggle, war is the failure of peace, defeat is the failure of both, and the U.S. is headed toward defeat. Tragically, the U.S. is losing its relative strategic power which is created and built by the astute coordination of all national strengths: political, economic, geopolitical, diplomatic, social, and military. Strong military forces, to be strategically effective, should always have a strong supporting nation with many healthy, educated,  and productive people and leaders who are always building and coordinating all national strengths.  Peace often is a result of national strategic power and wars usually are won or lost strategically before they are fought. Ominously, the U.S. has many nation-weakening problems including a flawed and wholly debt-based monetary and banking system which creates both money and debts, more debts than money, with a result that the national debt is nearing $17 trillion and many states and people are submerged under mammoth debts. Some results are personal and business bankruptcies, austerity, poverty for millions and a weakening nation, while many other nations are becoming more powerful in the current ever more dangerous world. The U.S. is in a crisis!

CONSISTENT WITH THE REASONING ABOVE, the U.S cannot win strategically in peace or in war for as long as it remains subjected to its current monetary and banking procedures. (Don’t take that statement lightly; I have been forecasting wars for years. See Exhibit 3 on p. 347 of my book.) Beginning in 1950, six years after the U.S. helped to create the nation-weakening International Monetary Fund (IMF) in 1944, the U.S. became involved in five successive wars--Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Afghanistan, and Iraq—and lost strategically in relation to each. Those strategic losses accelerated and intensified the nation’s current crisis. Now the U.S. needs new national procedures. The nation’s money supply is increasing but so are debts. Also, money by itself is neither a strength nor a form of strategic power. The U.S. needs both strengths and power and they are based on productive people and economic things, not debt based money. Now about 48 million people are on food stamps or in poverty, about 12 million people are unemployed, other millions are underemployed, and many budget cuts including the unwise and cruel sequester cuts are weakening the nation. This is not the America we once had, about which we could be proud, and for which millions of service people have fought and died. Instead, this is an America of the money thinkers, the debt builders, and many nation-weakening politicians.

ASTUTE POLITICAL ACTION IS URGENT. The U.S. is weak. It needs a rising tide of national patriotism for building the strategic power of the U.S. in every way possible. The BRICS nations (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) are building unity, North Korea and some other nations are directly or indirectly threatening the U.S. New weapons are being developed throughout the world and can be used during both peace and war. Build the U.S. Stop trying to reduce debts by cutting spending and entitlements while using a monetary system which creates debts and weakens the nation. Modify IMF relationships, change foreign aid and trade procedures, reform the monetary system, establish a new national infrastructure bank (See Ch. 17) which can issue money in relation to new public capital assets instead of debts, and thereby build the nation’s infrastructure and reduce debts. Make the U.S. a great nation again.
