The Edward Smith Library, located near the intersection of Routes 17 and 22, was last renovated in 2008. The library was originally housed in a nearby red schoolhouse. The building on Old Post Road was built in 1956 and added to in the '60s. The library's two floors hold sections for periodicals, DVDs, and CDs and a small children's play area in addition to regular book offerings.
