Update: Joseph Sansone came home last night from the hospital. He is doing very well and I haveRead More set-up a meal train for the Sansone family. Please consider participating. When Jeff came home I found the meal train extremely helpful. Having that one less thing to think about so I could concentrate on taking care of Jeff was invaluable. http://www.mealtrain.com/?id=m70ckr8rwolt

Thanks for the kind words! Just a few corrections. The North Branford Food Bank is open on FridayRead More from 1-2:30. Marion Dufourney is the wonderful lady who was my mentor when I first volunteered at the Food Bank! She along with Nell Macmillan, Billy Schusler, Marion Mushial and Fran Testagrossa were great inspirations! Nancy Taste, Joe's wife worked tirelessly with him at the Food Bank! Deb Stirling and Carol Sabia are also great volunteers who help each week! The 20-25 families who visit the Food Bank have become like family to us!

Senior dogs are the best. People really lose out when they won't consider a dog because of theirRead More age. You may not have as many years with them but for the years they have left they will be completely devoted to you. The dog with me in my pic was a beagle/basset mix named Suzie who was 8 when I adopted her from the North Haven Animal Shelter, and though I only had three years with her, she was the love of my life.
