Kelly JS Luxenberg, Neighbor

Kelly (Juleson-Scopino) Luxenberg is a Democratic member of the Board of Education serving her first term.  She was born and raised in Manchester and graduated from the Manchester Public Schools.  After graduating from Seton Hall University and living in New York City, Kelly returned to her hometown.  She has worked for Congressman John Larson and at the Connecticut General Assembly; she now serves as the Major Gifts Officer for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Hartford.

When not serving on the Board of Education, Kelly is an avid volunteer and advocate for several area animal rescue groups.  She prides herself on being the voice for those who otherwise would not have one.

Kelly and her husband, State Representative Geoff Luxenberg, live in the Lydall Woods neighborhood of Manchester.
