Family Movie Night at Durham Fairgrounds!

The Durham Cooperative Nursery School is excited to announce that their 4th Annual Family Movie Night will be held at the Durham Fairgrounds on Saturday May 11th, 2013 at 8pm. The event will feature the classic Dr. Suess' The Lorax on an enormous 2-story high inflatable movie screen near Center Stage. Doors open to the outdoor theatre at 6:30pm so families can enjoy a live band, facepainting, hair tinsel, glitter tattoos and a craft table! A concession stand will be open offering drinks, popcorn, cotton candy, movie theatre candy, hot dogs, pizza and much more! All are welcome to enjoy the fun of an old-fashioned drive-in theatre, with chairs and blankets instead of cars. The movie will begin at approximately 8pm, when dusk sets in. Onsite parking is free and tickets are $5 per person with children under two free. You may purchase tickets ahead of time by calling the Durham Co-Op at 860-349-9885 or you may purchase tickets at the door.
