Totoket Historical Society Talk about Lake Gaillard and the North Branford Dam
The Totoket Historical Society invites you to a talk on Tuesday, June 4 at 7 PM by Dr. Theodore Groom, about the the development of Lake Gaillard and the building of the North Branford Dam. All are welcome to join the members of the Society for this fascinating talk about the construction project that forever changed the landscape of North Branford.
Get a look at old maps and pictures of this historic project and learn how the New Haven Water Company acquired 1/3 of the land in North Branford. Students are encouraged to come and learn more about the history of their town. There is no charge.
