"They're Going To Force The Elderly People Out Of Town"

The polls for the North Branford budget referendum opened at noon with several residents waiting for the 12 o'clock mark so they could cast their votes on the proposed $48.6 million budget with a 29.1 mill rate.

Anthony Delfino was first in line at the District 2 polling center and told Patch why he came out to vote (see video).

The polls are open until 8 p.m.
