NBLL Teams Still Swinging!

While we all may be looking to escape the heat, North Branford Little League teams are bringing it as they continue to shine in postseason play. Here's the rundown of where those teams stand and when and where they play next.

12U Girls

The 12U girls are 2-0 in sectionals, having topped Darien 10-4 on July 5 and Wallingford 11-1 on July 6. The 12U team takes on Seymour in the semifinal on Monday, July 8. 

10U Girls

North Branford's 10U softball team stands at 1-0, taking a 15-2 win over Milford on July 7. The 10U team has a bye on July 8 and will take on Orange at Wall Field on Tuesday, July 9 at 5:30 p.m. before traveling to East Haven on Wednesday, July 10 at 5:30 p.m. On Thursday, July 11, North Branford hosts Bethwood at 5:30 p.m. before the best-of-three championship starts on Saturday, July 13.

12U Boys

The 12U baseball team finished 4-1 in pool play with wins over East Haven (14-6), Pop Smith (10-0), Cheshire (10-1) and Annex (12-1) and a 14-5 loss to Orange. North Branford hosts Branford at Wall Field on Tuesday, July 9 at 8 p.m. and is hoping to play in front of a packed house.

11U Boys

On Tuesday, July 9, the North Branford 11U team, which stands at 0-5, will finish its season by traveling to Milford to take on Milford National-Lou Gehrig at 5:30 p.m.

10U Boys

The 10U baseball team next plays on Tuesday, July 9 at 5:30 p.m. at Wall Field when it will take on Cheshire.  North Branford currently stands at 0-3. North Branford will then travel to Milford to play against Milford National-Lou Gehrig on Thursday, July 11 at 5:30 p.m.
