A day at the beach! Meet at Meigs Point Nature Center in Hammonasset State Park to learn about our CT shoreline. Experience the Touch Tank for an up-close view of the smaller wonders of the sea, do some beachcombing and then explore the Rocky Shore to look for crabs. Pack a picnic lunch, sunscreen and sand castle supplies. We'll end our visit with a sand castle building extravaganza to create a monumental masterpiece! Price: $3 per person. All ages welcome!!
