North Branford, rain is in the forecast, and lots of it. Your weekend plans, however, should be dry.
After a sunny and dry Tuesday and Wednesday, look for increasing cloudiness for Thursday as an intensifying low pressure system approaches from the south and west. There is a slight chance for an evening shower on Thursday.
The bulk of the rain, however, will fall overnight Thursday into the day on Friday. Rain could be heavy at times with one to two inches expected. Minor street flooding is possible.
Winds will be on the increase Friday night as the low pushes off to the north and east. Expect partly sunny skies and cooler temperatures during the day Saturday.
Clouds will again be on the increase for Sunday, with a slight chance for an afternoon rain or snow shower. The bulk of the precipitation will arrive late Sunday night into Monday. Rain could be heavy at times.
Stay tuned for more updates.
