Sunny, Breezy and Cool

This week will get off to a sunny, yet cool start with breezy conditions forecast for your Monday. Our next chance at any significant precipitation looks to be late Friday.

High pressure in southern Canada is still dominating our weather pattern at the moment, keeping our weather dry and our temperatures quite cool. This high pressure system will slowly push out, giving us a slight chance at some rain or snow showers overnight Wednesday. The next significant storm system will be developing in the Gulf states late Thursday night. The storm track and intensity at this time is still very much uncertain.

Today: Plenty of sunshine with a few fair-weather clouds. Highs will be on the cool side in the mid-40s. Winds will also be a bit gusty out of the northwest at 10 to 20 miles per hour.

Tuesday: Very similar to Monday. Look for lots of sunshine but continued cool temperatures. Highs only moderating slightly into the upper-40s. Winds will be a bit lighter at 10 to 15 miles per hour. Overnight low in the upper-20s.

Friday: Clouds will be on the increase for your Friday, with rain developing overnight. Highs in the low-50s. This system seems quite dynamic; any skew in the track and intensity my drastically change the forecast.
