Many thanks to everyone who donated items for the North Branford High School Cheerleaders annual clothing drive on Saturday October 20th. We had fun and for once we did not freeze to death in the parking lot! And to top it off we won the game against East Hampton/Vinal RVT 45 -0. The squad is going to have killer arm muscles from all those push-ups if the football team keeps up their winning streak!
As a reminder, the clothing drive proceeds benefit the cheer squad for those items not covered under the school budget. In addition, the clothing and other items are processed by Fashion Republic and shipped to countries such as Poland, Republic of Georgia, Ghana, Liberia, Honduras, Nicaragua, Haiti, India, Mali, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Kenya. Your donations not only help fund a local program but also people in need around the world!
