Weather Update - Be the First to Walk the New Notch Hill Brook Trail

Rain Plan: If light rain and/or an occasional shower on Saturday morning the walk is on.  However, if heavy rain and/or sustained showers the walk will be postponed one day to Sunday, June 3rd - same place, same time.  Call Art Feldman at (917) 570-4895 for current info.

The North Branford Land Conservation Trust invites you to help celebrate Connecticut Trails Day by joining us for our inaugural nature walk on the new Notch Hill Brook Trail in North Branford.  This moderate two-mile walk will start at 10 AM on Saturday June 2nd and take you through a woodland valley, across a photogenic brook, around swampland and up rocky outcroppings.  We will see interesting flora, geology and traces of local history in a quiet, undisturbed setting.  Meet leaders Ken Albin, Mike Ferrucci and David Sargent in the cul-de-sac at the southern end of Ciro Road off of Route 80.

Pre-registration is appreciated.  Questions, rain plan and to register, contact David Sargent at (203) 484-4566 or email to info@nblandtrust.org.  Leashed are dogs OK.
