3 Questions for Director of Libraries Bob Hull: Aug. 8

Bob Hull, director of North Branford libraries, keeps us in the loop of what's happening at Atwater and Smith.

The new '3 Questions' feature has been such a success that we're bringing on five more town officials, including Bonnie Therrien (interim town manager), Fran Merola (public works), Robert Hull (libraries), Luisa Breen (social services) and Judy Barron (senior center) to keep up updated on happenings in their departments.

They'll be answering the regular questions of 'What's new in your department?' and 'What's something residents should know?' and catching up on all of the 'favorites' questions, including your favorite thing about summer, favorite movie and favorite food.

North Branford Patch: What’s new in your department?
Hull: The has provided a grant to purchase books and DVDs on foreign language instruction for kids and adults, English as a Second Language (ESL) materials and on-line language instruction. Also as part of this grant, volunteers now work at the library instructing people in ESL.
