We've got a couple great bloggers sharing interesting stories and anecdotes. Check out their blogs under 'Local Voices.' These are people in North Branford sharing their stories and their thoughts–and !

Doreen Currie was diagnosed with a brain tumor and chronicles her journey from diagnosis to preparing for brain surgery; from surgery to recovery and then dealing with the aftermath. Her positive attitude and strength have certainly inspired me. 

Growing up in a farming family, Abbie Walston opens her Patch blog with a post called 'Cow Town' before she explores many topics with many touching on farming and nature. She recently shared recipes for a perfect pie dough and strawberry rhubarb pie that almost convinced me to give baking a try!

Once you click that (if you don't already have a Patch account, you'll have to create one or log in using your Facebook account!), just fill out the fields and click 'Submit Application.' After you are given blogging privileges, feel free to share your thoughts, your life story, advice on your area of expertise or any other thoughts you might have. 

With a blog, you've got the freedom to post whenever and however often you'd like. You can upload photos and videos. 

Do you love to read? Talk about your favorite books. A movie buff? Use a blog to give flicks two thumbs up (or down). Are you a lawyer, real estate agent, landscaper, hairdresser?
