At North Branford Patch, we love to celebrate the achievements of kids in town. Whether they're 8 or 18, in pre-K or a senior in high school, if your child has something to brag about, share it on Patch!

: age 14, two-time recipient of the Superintendent Award and member of Order of the Arrow, the National Honor Society for Boy Scouts (April 20, 2011)

: age 13, South Central Area Superintendent Award and the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth National Academic Achievement Award among many other achievements, both academic and athletic (April 27, 2011)

: age 17, first place in the Rochester Institute of Technology Digital Photography contest for deaf and hearing impaired (May 4, 2011)

: age 5, as well as collecting sponsors for riding his bike in the Bike-a-thon to raise money for St. Jude’s Hospital, he donated his own money from an Easter Egg Hunt (May 11, 2011)

: age 8, shaved his head to raise money for pediatric cancer research and is involved in sports and church (May 18, 2011)

: age 11, an accomplished figure skater who has won many medals and who landed an axel (June 1, 2011)

: age 9, accomplished softball player who recently took up pitching and also enjoys climbing trees and swimming (June 8, 2011)

: age 13, Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth award for academic achievement in addition to success as a dancer and member of the band (June 15, 2011)

: age 13, award-winning artist through ArtLink who also cares about animals (June 22, 2011)

: age 16, a high honors student who is working her way toward a career in the medical field (June 29, 2011)

: age 15, North Branford High School's first golfer to be named All-Shoreline–and only a freshman (July 27, 2011)

: age 16, a People to People ambassador who traveled to Europe, who also participated in the Futures field hockey program (Aug. 4, 2011)

: age 5, chose to forego birthday presents and instead ask friends to bring donations for the CT Humane Society to his party (Aug. 17, 2011)

: age 17, a successful field hockey player who also maintains honors and played in the pit band for (Aug. 24, 2011) 

: age 8, caught a record largemouth bass and also earned his orange belt in Sambo (Sept. 28, 2011)

: age 13, a high honors student who donated 10 inches of hair to Locks of Love (Oct. 12, 2011)
