Your Town This Week

Here are five things going on in town this week.

1. It's Teacher Appreciation Week. Take a moment this week to tell a teacher how important they are to you.

2. is a busy place this week. Meetings scheduled include the Economic Development Commission on Monday, May 2 at 7 p.m.; Agricultural Meeting on Monday, May 2 at 7 p.m.; the WPCA and Town Council Meeting on Tuesday, May 3 at 7 p.m.; and Planning and Zoning on Thursday, May 5 at 7 p.m. Friday, May 6 marks the application deadline for the June 2 and June 16 P&Z meetings.

3.There are a variety of events happening in North Branford's schools this week. The  PTO meets on  from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. On Thursday, May 5, 's cafeteria will be home to from 6 to 8 p.m. The hosts North Branford's on Wednesday, May 4 from 4 to 8 p.m. Head down to the library and check out pieces by North Branford's talented students.

4. In addition to the art show, the library offers other programs throughout the week including and a . On Tuesday, May 5, local author Nancy Elizabeth Wallace will visit with kindergarten classes as they take a field trip to either the or libraries.
