Join over 1,000 runners and walkers for the 4th Annual Matt's Mission 5K on Sunday.
Early packet pick-up begins Friday and continues on Saturday at soundRUNNER in Branford. Registration will also be available on both days. Register before raceday for a lower rate.
The scenic course starts and finishes at North Branford High School and runs through residential neighborhoods in North Branford. After the race enjoy a party with food, beverages, live entertainment and awards for top finishers in each age category.
Each pre-registered runner and the first 200 raceday entrants receive a free t-shirt!
The Matt's Mission 5K honors the life of Matt Picciuto a North Branford resident who died in a car crash in May 2009. Money raised during the event benefits Matt's Mission Fund, a nonprofit organization that helps children in need, provides scholarships and increases the awareness of the consequences of destructive driving decisions. Last year's race raised $45,000 for Matt's Mission Fund and has raised nearly $100,000 over the past 3 years.
