Early Morning Accident Closes Route 80 in North Branford
Route 80 now open, injured driver transported to hospital, accident under investigation.

and EMS personnel extricated a male victim from a multiple vehicle accident this morning that occurred on Route 80 near Sea Hill Road.
It is reported that a pickup truck traveling west on Route 80 struck a dump truck, flipped over multiple times then landed on the roof of another pickup truck that was traveling east-bound.

The drivers of the dump truck and second pickup truck were not injured. North Branford Fire Department ambulance transported the injured driver to the hospital for treatment.
The accident cause erarly morning traffic on Route 80 and delays for school buses as well as commuters. North Branford is investigating the accident scene.
