celebrated Read Across America Day on March 25. Read Across America is generally celebrated on March 2 in honor of Dr. Seuss’s birthday, but TVES postponed the event due to CMTs. Joseph Roberti, a retired art teacher, played the Cat in the Hat visiting classrooms throughout the school. After some Dr. Seuss trivia and history, Roberti read Horton Hatches an Egg to Mrs. Gresham’s 5th-grade class.
